Downpipe issue

I have an 05 STi.

Tomioka UEL headers
Up-pipe
Full 4" down pipe (catless)
TurboXS 3" catback with their standard muffler.
I welded in a resinstor to quiet it down.
My question is if I go to a 3" catless dp from the 4" will it quiet it down?
Under WOT it is a beast, and just coming off cruise control to pass someone at highway speeds.

forget the dp....it isnt the issue

the axleback is the issue

get a quiet one

The TXS Standard muffler is one of the quietist.
What would you recommend?

If that's too loud, stock.

the original 'stealth back' was a stock axle back on the txs dp and midpipe

if that is too loud...sell the car, do that today
