Hope all is well Kostamojen. I submitted your thread to Build-threads over a year ago hoping it would get seen by more people and give the car and you the admiration that is deserved. You've put so much of your soul into the build. I hope this puts a smile on your face.

Hi
Im new on these here forums, but had to join after reading all 111 pages of it. My question is this: Was the ea36 also used to repower light aircraft and gensets? If so a few year back I pulled 3 complete assembled but not running and three mostly complete engines from an old warehouseI had cleaned up. I sold these(all of them) to a friend of mine who probably still has them.If they are the same or if your reasonably certain they could be the same I could go and see if they would still be avaliable. since I sold them all for 300 Im sure I could pick one up cheap. Im heading up to that place this weekend so let me know either way. Oh and please dont give up on that car. As others have said youve come so far with it just to sell it on. P.S If these engines work just pay what the guy wants for it and the shipping.. |

update ? have you ended up keeping it and putting it to the side for a bit till you decide to come back to it ? ... this open ending has left me emotionally distraught lol , no b/s - so i can only begin to imagine how you feel... hope to see this pull thru and things work out.. best of luck man.

Well dude, I'm sorry to see it go, but happy that you'll get some closure. Hopefully you find something else to tinker on soon.
I've followed for over two years and your build has been my favorite thing on here. I would gladly take it off your hands if I had the extra dough. He'll, if I had enough extra dough I'd finish it for you and let you keep it. ![]() |
