I just got done doing this same snorkel cap setup on my awd civic wagon. I believe your snorkel cap is installed wrong for letting water out while driving. The way you have it on there now water will be scooped and go straight into the snorkel tube. If you install your pvc inside the snorkel cap the water can drain alond the sides and exit on the sides of your snorkel tube through the slits manufactures into the cap. |

if you are getting water into THAT snorkel cap, you have ALOT more to worry about than water getting into your engine... like your car being at the bottom of a lake...

isnt that kinda the point of the cover being on it and it not being open...
probably not a major issue issue unless you are in a monsoon, which im guessing isnt his main use for it... i think he is probably ok... |

There is something about the lifted outback that looks very appealing.

Just put my '04 Forester suspension on my '96 legacy wagon. I have done a TON of reading but I just want to confirm that 215/75/15's WILL work WITHOUT a spacer on top of the forester stuff. P.S. Iv'e done my rear trailing arm brackets and all the rest of the stuff to maintain the proper geometry of my axles. And have "rolled" my fenders with some help from a baseball bat and a BFH. Just dont want to pay for tires, have them rub and then wish I would have gone with 205's. I would also like to keep as much of my OBS front bumper as possible.
Cheers! ![]() |

I had that same size on my 98
![]() you probably will have to take off the mudflaps and trim by the corner of the rear door if you have that stuff |

Cool thanks for the snappy reply! Looks good, how much did you have to deal with the tires rubbing in the wheel well when off road?

they rubbed the fender liner ever so gently when turning but didn't rub at all due to bumps
