Cars needed for car show

Hey guys, my church is going to be having a car show and I think it would be great to see some well done subies in the mix. You are not going to be expected to go to church service or anything like that, just come hang out--and we'll even feed you and a guest. Details below:

Sat 4/20: Load In 1:30-3:00 PM, Show 4:00-8:00 PM
Sun 4/21 Load In 7:30-8:30 AM, Show 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

So, if you want to show off your car, let me know!

It's happening at all of CCV's campuses, but I am promoting for the Surprise campus...address is 14787 W Cholla St, Surprise (Bullard & Cactus). While we would make every feasible accomodation to get anyone that showed up that day a spot, I wouldn't want someone to show up and have it be full. So, registering your car online would be best (It says 'customs and classics,' but I pushed for having imports too, so don't let me down! I mean, most of our cars are customized

Will definitely be going to the Peoria location as that's our family's church, but thank you for the heads up! Always wondered what it would take for ccv to do a car show, now we know lol!!

Wait, do they really want stock, non-classic cars at this show? I mean I can understand a heavily modified car (like a race car), but one made in the last 10 years with some aftermarket rims and not much else is what they want for a car show for the general public? Are they trying to use this event to raise money? If so I would think they want unusual cars to draw in people? The general public doesn't care about modified Subarus unless they are really over the top I would think. Otherwise it's kind of like just walking through a dealership lot.

Or is this more of a club type gathering?

I would just be careful that you don't over run your church with a club of Subarus rather than true show worthy cars. If you still want us there, that's awesome as well.

I go to CCV Peoria. I just purchased my WRX. Love it. I'd be happy to join. Anyone know of any good clubs or groups that do drives or meet ups of this sort?

Well for meets and drives, here or azawd.org are the best places to be for info. Yeah, maybe a little Suby turnout is what ccv needs since there seems to be a large concentration of them in our area, lol!

We don't want stock, modern cars, but yes, we do want heavily modded modern cars that look good. Also, I am only speaking for the Surprise campus. Peoria may be classics only, and I know Scottsdale is just bikes. Thanks for bringing this up so I could clarify.

The intention of it is to do something cool that people will enjoy coming to. It's not a fund raiser or anything like that (there are no fees and I think we may even be giving prizes away).

Even if you (anyone) came just to check it all out and not be in the show, that would be cool.

LOL. Didn't realize there was so much CCV people here. Ive seen a few in the parking lot in Peoria a few times. I basically live across the street from there.

With that said, we must represent the scoobs in large numerals at the ccv Peoria!! Plus it would be cool to meet all the Suby owners in the area since there seems to be a good chunk of them around here..
