In my experience, when I got a no front plate ticket, I went to the CHP office and they signed the ticket without even getting out of their chair. They looked out the window, commented about how the camry they saw had illegal tint, and said they'll see me in a few months when I get a ticket for that. My Suby wasn't even visible through the window.

Some times you get luck and it comes right off and sometimes it's a bear. Went to the tint guy after and 10 min later we had tint back. The cop was a dick and got him for everything, had something to prove to a bone stock 08 sti. My friend just accelerated hard to the speed limit without spinning the wheels . The cop swore my friend was going the speed the cop traveled to catch up. Obviously he did not take physics nor understand integration....

Was that telling you enough?

Ive had it io for 6 years and it looks flawless

I need it to block sun for my own sake
Long story short pm me if u have a ref.

If I remember correctly, if you have a "condition" that the tint is needed. All you have to do is provide a note from a doctor.

Just sign it yourself with a name that's hard to read and the same badge number from the front. When u go to pay the ticket all they do is look at the back and see some writing and charge you the $25 and staple the ticket to the reciept. They never run the number or name

Give it a shot and report back if that worked.

I received a citation for illegal window tint a few years back. I was already planning to remove & retint the windows a lighter shade as 20% fronts became a pain at night when I went camping/up to the mountains.
(Actually, two citations. One was tacked onto a speeding ticket but that got dismissed. Second one was only tint, no getting out of that without a sign off)
I had removed the tint and went down to my friendly neighborhood CHP station. The desk jockey not only got out of his chair and walked outside to see my car, he even asked me to trigger the keyless entry to verify it was my car!
Then, upon return to his desk, he stamped the back of the citation with some official looking red stamp and signed the stamp.

My buddy once told me he swapped license plates with his friend same color car. Saw a cop on the street and asked if she could sign his tint ticket off and she did.

only way to do this is if you have a cop friend willing to sign it off.. Other than that it is. Removing the tint with a razor blade and some time.. Going to the department of where you live or the one who wrote the ticket and get it signed off.. then mailing the proof of correction and the 25 bux or whatever and getting it cleared. Or going into the court house and showing the ticket and proof the the clerk of the court or the judge. But if you personally do not know a cop you are going to have a hard time getting it hooked up...
