Question Mechanic/Dealership Service Recommendations? - Baltimore/DC Maryland

Hey guys,

2007 WRX Wagon
SPT intake & SPT Catback exhaust. No tunes, just some minor cosmetic mods.

After a car wash the other day, when my car started the next day, i got a CEL + Cruise flashing. I ended up getting a OBDII read @ advanced auto parts and it spit out P1410... and then the code went away for the rest of the day. Now it's day 3 and the CEL came back. Car drives fine. Hitting the net and forums seems like it's possible the air valves..

I'd like to bring it in to someone to take a look at figuring out what it is.
I've googled and read reviews on the few local dealerships and doesn't seem like service departments are any good around here.

Any one have recommendations for services around Baltimore/Colubmia/DC area?
Russell in Catonsville, MD is the closest, and I read some stuff on Herb Gordon in silver spring, MD too. But most reviews are on the sales department.

Any help would be appreciated.

p1410 is for secondary air valve stuck open.

Only thing it says in the service manual is check for air leaks in the valve tubing, if yes, replace the valve, if no was a temporary fault

IAG in Westminster.

They have all the dealer diag tools AFAIK, and plenty of experience with Subarus.

Get the pump deleted.

They're known to fail as the miles get high. Pump or the valves, something about condensation and freezing temps.

As Abnormal already stated, go to IAG.

If you would like, give Rick or JJ a call and set up an appointment to get it taken care of!

Good Luck!

My CEL went away on its own for a few days, but it came back again.
This time the codes are:
P1410
P2442
P2443

I'll be contacting IAG and hoping for a easy affordable solution. I honestly can't afford the outrageous dealer's prices.

The delete consists of 2 plates that block off ports on the back of the motor. Its a pain on the 08s as the turbo needs to come off to get to the pass. Side plate
