Have you never been outside your community? The price of a Coke at one place is not the same of that somewhere 2-300 or more miles away. Same goes with a tune, all about cost of living for that area AND what tuner they have. So no matter WHAT price we tell you, it makes no difference.

Oh look, you made a thread asking the price, which is TECHNICALLY cross posting. Especially since you have ANOTHER thread in Tri State asking for help with a tune. Whoops, looks like you made the same post asking about cost for a tune 3 total times, in 3 threads including making a new one. That IS against forum rules.

Do you want me to call the listed shops in your other thread for you to setup an appointment?

So how much did you pay for a tune again?

What I paid for a tune is completely irrelevant.

Fn Seriously? My thread in the Regional Tri State Area gets locked because I ask about tuners. Apparently, too many people have talked about tuners. Is there anything that you guys haven't talked about. Is what is on this forum the be all and end to everything Subaru. What is with this place?

NexxWins, if I were you I would get an e-tune and be done with it. It should get rid of your O2 sensor issues and get the car running better and with more power.

E-tunes can be had from a number of vendors. Check out Torqued Performance, Clark Turner, PDX, and others. You can get an open source tune for $150 or so, and load it onto the car's computer with a laptop and a Tactrix cable. Any of the vendors I mentioned should be able to help you with the details of loading the map.

That's probably your most straightforward option; no scrounging for 9-year-old downpipes or big money for a dyno tune.

You've been given plenty of advice. This isn't your high school babysitters club. We're not here to hold your hand. You asked questions, you got answers and advice. Now act on it, or don't.

GFAK and stay out of Hin's back yard. Only he can talk to me that way in here.
