You must be new. Nasioc isn't a huge fan of carbon hoods on GD's either.

Carbon fiber hoods only weigh 2lbs less than flat, steel hoods? Huh? Were you dropped on your head?

No to mention the gc rs hood was steel too,op has a bugeye not a gc but still...
Imo should have traded someone for a wrx hood

Most of this forum has an Aluminum hood.

Well, used to anyway. Not anymore since the hoods on the newer cars are steel.

I know some of you will think "im ricing it up"
that about covers it.

And FYI, a REAL CF hood will be a lot lighter than just 2 pounds difference.
The Saab rally car's steel hood was something like 60, kevlar/fiberglass was about 12. (I realize the wrx hoods are Aluminium... but yours isn't)

lol. looked better before.

by plastidipping parts of the car its making it look like you were in an accident and couldnt afford to get the parts painted. ditch the hubcaps, lose the ricey scoop. if you want a scooped hood, trade with a wrx hood. there's a lot of cheap, more effective, and less ricey mods out there. As mentioned before:

free mods: snorkus delete, cleared headlight mod, Disabled DRL's
cheap mods: endlinks, short throw shifter, sway bars, strut bars, engine/trans mounts, rear diff mounts, trans crossmember bushings, shifter bushings, intake, "jdm" hazard switch, change bulbs to LEDs, grounding kit, pitch stop, I could go on... pretty much anything other than what yove done.
