Default Subaru OEM Oil Filters 15208AA160 &15208AA130

As of right now only the 15208AA160 is no longer going to be available in the states. Once supplies are drawn down there will no more from what I have been told. So here at Somerset Subaru we prepared to get as many as possible from a couple local dealers that had a couple to many as we sell a ton of these filters. I have 16 cases available.

The 15208AA160 is superseding to a 15208AA15A which is basically just a taller version of the old 12A. It is a blue filter that is made in the USA. The 160 and 130 come from Japan and the 130 will not fit the Impreza. So when your local dealer runs out you will know where to get them well until I run out .

Good to know.. I've heard the same.

Can you confirm if the black ones (160/130) will work for the EJ series engines at all? They're supposedly only for the FB. I've heard they don't seat fully down due to a difference in the length of threads, but the threading is the same.

I will look into it but I know on the new Impreza, Legacy and Out back those take either a 160 or 130 which now they are taking a 15A. I will try and do some research here to see if the 160 will fit the EJ
