Ahhhh the mini e-revo,such a cool little truck. I had one right after they came out. You almost have to have a perfectly flat surface or a prepared track for them. I loved the truck but it was so limited to where you could take it terrain wise because of it's size,I had to get rid of mine because of that. Also,a race class for them never caught on at our local track. After that I bought a full size platinum, problem solved, lol.

Yeah once you start modding rc's you never get your money back in the end just like real cars. But,you can make something back if you return it to stock and sell the aftermarket stuff separately. It has worked for me for years. I can vouch for the ultimate slash,it's a great truck but not for the price. I have owned every variation since the 2wd first released and my favorite is the regular slash 4x4. The ultimate isn't worth the asking price for what you get, even the platinum isn't worth it with a $120 price difference. The Original could be upgraded to mostly Platinum or Ultimate parts for almost the same cost as buying a platinum. And, it comes with a radio and a battery. I think you'll be just as happy with a regular 4x4 but to each his own.

Yeah, looks sort of like the concept car for the current imprezza.
![]() Oddly enough the current imprezza doesn't look NEARLY as cool. |

In a 2-door version I, personally, think it looks good. But, I'm 40 ... so I'm old and don't know what 'looks good' anymore (rofl). The 4-door makes it look like they took a nice sports car and then tacked on 2 extra doors. Looks meh.

Lately, on Thursday nights around 8-9ish, a bunch of domestic and tuner cars have been gathering in the parking lot next to Famous Dave's on Rt. 40. Including mine, there are three WRXs that have been regularly showing up. It's mostly a younger crowd, but everyone's pretty nice. If you're free, you guys should stop by and hang out for a bit.
