Tired of the Miata already? Kidding, I found this with a quick search:

http://clubsportiva.com/exotic-car-rentals

They have 2 R8's.

So I was at my parents house yesterday for dinner and I was in the kitchen getting a drink when my dad yells for me from the next room over. I seriously thought there was something wrong with him. Instead, the 10 or so steps it takes me to reach the living room ends with him pointing at the tv featuring a former co-worker of mine.

This guy, Pete, was the head driver at Technicolor. I worked with him and his son Joe.

Must be a pretty special event to drop 1 to 1.5k to rent one for a day. Enjoy!

NOPE.

Wasn't me.

I was in Alaska working on the pipeline. The satellite telemetry from my cellphone GPS will confirm that.

Looks like I'm out of luck guys, no place offers the Audi R8 Coupe at a competitive price anymore. The last place that I almost put my deposit at just sold their coupe (BIG Bummer!)... they were going to give me the convertible at a coupe price which is awesome BUT I know for sure that Beatrix hates convertibles... There only 1 place left which has the coupe but its white and V10... so hard to find a black V8 coupe for rent... ughhh.

You could just put the top up on the convertible Ian and pretend it's the coupe.

What about in Vegas? Not local but u can make a weekend out of it and drive it through the valley of fire.

And then to a drive thru wedding chapel.

I'd take the white coupe V10 for a spin.

I'd never own a black car while living in Southern California.

If you're going to rent you might as well go over the top and rent the V10 model over the V8.

A coworker of mine is looking for subie parts. Anyone have a source for a rear differential for a 2004 WRX? I'm assuming 2002-2007 are all the same.
