Need help with DRL - Page 5

From left to right those relays are the fuel pump relay, main relay, and throttle control relay. The DLR relay should be just to the right of those, perhaps under the dash, along with the high beam relay. They may be the ones shown in the bottom right side of your picture.

I am trying to find out how to disable the DRL on 07 Impreza NON TURBO. This is the 2.5. I have seen a few posts in regards to the HID lights and I have a basic model. Can someone lead me to how to accomplish this?

I have the same car this is how I did mine.

Remove glove box
Disconnect the BLACK relay
Remove center wire (yellow w/ red stripe)
Tape the bare connection and tuck it away
Connect relay back up then glove box
done

Forgot to add this is a good time to check you cabin air filter

Its in the white box in the 1st picture

I did this and now my airbag light is off, but I still managed to disable my DRL's. Any help with the airbag light? Thanx

You may have disturbed a connection to the passenger side airbag. I recommend you check the connection.

I have a 2007 Sti and i need help disconnecting my drl's. I disconnected what I believe is the drl module behind the glove box but that had no affect. Does anyone know what I have to do exactly for the 07 Sti?

If what you unplugged was a 10pin connector that was all yellow on color you have unplugged one of the SRS connections, plug that back in and look for the other one.

To turn my DRL's off in my 02 Impreza.
I disconnected the plug in the engine bay area, top left side.
Seems much simpler than this anyways.

Hey guys, this may have bee answered but someone was saying something about problems with the law? If I were to do this mod and take it to the dealer for service would they make a fuss and charge me? Thanks.

It should not, I have it disable for 3 years and no complain what so ever from dealership. Check with state inspection requirement and see if DRL is require in your state.
