so you see yellow with the lights off?
I'm going to go with a bulb that has a yellow film on it.

just be prepared to replace them since they don't tend to last too long due to being setup to draw a bit more power, to make a bit more light at the expense of longevity.
And some of them just melt and **** stuff up.

Hmm. I wanted stock power.

Ok. Thanks, so there is no special bulb? I can take everything from eBay that says hb3 yellow bulb 65W?

I thought of Narva contrast+ because they are legal in Europe but they don't seem very yellow -.-

yellow stars don't really look very yellow. I think OP is looking to have the color of the bulb to show through even when the bulb is off.

I have a set of yellowstars in my oem fogs. They're output yellow but not YELLOW and they definitely don't make the light look yellow when the bulb is off.

Hella Optilux Extreme XY bulbs.

They project a yellow light, the lamp itself will look yellow when in use, and when not in use, the lamp reflector will appear yellow (similar to the blue in OP's picture above).

Available here in the US: 880; 894; H3; HB1/9004; HB2/9003/H4; HB3/9005; HB4/9006; HB5/9007

The H3 fog-lamp bulbs do not last as long as regular white/clear bulbs.
