Hey Guys,
I just picked up an 04 WRX wagon a little over a week ago. Down the road I would like to get bigger fog lamps for it (similar to the stock ones on the 02-03). I've been looking around all morning and haven't come up with any good info. What are my options for going with bigger lamps? What are companies I can look into that offer reasonable prices? Also how difficult is the installs on it? I have never done much modification (if any) on the past cars I've owned, but I know how to follow instructions. In my research I've seen a lot about JDM fogs, but cutting up parts of my bumper are something I don't want to do. I'm looking for something that will fit. If this has already been hashed out in other threads please direct me there. I don't want to waste any ones time. I have searched high and low on NASIOC before asking this question but most have led me to outdated links or companies that no longer exist. Thanks for your time!

I think your only option are the pricey jdm fogs. Otherwise you'll be doing a lot of cutting and retrofitting.

JDM fogs or you can MAKE some of the PIAA lights fit. Believe the 520 is similar size. I may be wrong though.

The only other option besides JDM would be the rally innovations fogs. Good luck finding those. They are more rare and more expensive than JDM I think. But if you were looking for ideas they have pics of them on their website.
If you're not into cutting things or drilling holes, get a light bar and throw some fogs on it. There's tons of DIYs for simple lightbars meant simply for mounting lights. Or you can buy one that offers a bit of protection for the bunper as well as holds lights (you can make one too it's just a little harder than just a bar for lights) I'd hook you up with some links but I'm on my phone. I've thought about trying to cut up some bezels and making a custom mounting plate for some bigger fogs down there but have never taken the time to hash it out properly. |

You don't have to cut anything if you get the JDM bumper beam as well.

Thanks for the input guys. i was definitely hoping to just find something that was ultimately plug and play.
How hard is the jdm bumper beam to install yourself? |

The bumper beam install is only like 6 bolts. However, it's a big waste of money when you can hack up the stock one
