I think the Perrin and Ultra Racing bars are steel, but I don't think they make a bar specifically for our cars yet or any I've found. Hopefully they will be available in the future and if this eBay bar craps out I'll replace it with one of those.
Aluminum snaps, steel bends. Thats all I meant.

Ive been lookin to get it used but theyre still over $100, so I prob wont be getting one.

It depends on the aluminum. I've seen aluminum used on high performance mountain bikes (pretty much the same stuff used on aircraft), which use flex of the metal in certain locations as a pivot point and basically last for decades if treated well. I'm not saying you are wrong, but that it depends on the aluminum used and how it has been made, so in this case he may or may not have any problem at all. I would trust the perrin and cusco options to be highly reliable.

Did you re-install the internal shifter boot with the sound deadening material? That may be part of the issue there. I have the Perrin adapter with bushing kit installed and hear no additional noise at all.

Yes, I did. Although when I left for work this morning the noise wasn't as noticable. Maybe it was just me Lol. Thanks for the input

The noise wasn't as noticable this morning on the way to work. It was probably just me looking for anything wrong while testing it out last night, Lol. I was originally gonna go with the Cobb. But KB had a discount code and $1 shipping so I went with that instead hah

I kind of agree. lol

It would be cheaper to just mount half a dozen sharkfin antennas and youd get the same look. haha

So I just got my order in the mail today... well most of it. I got the rear perrin 22mm sway bar and end links for the front and rear but I didn't get my Cusco front sway bar. I ordered from infamous performance. They refunded my money for it. I don't want to install the sway bar without the front. I called cusco and they sent me in a couple different directions. They put me in touch with joe at rallysportdirect who was able to help me out. He special ordered the bar for me. It will be a couple of weeks till it comes in. I'm kind of frustrated with how infamous did business with me and would have liked to be notified before sending out my parts but I guess you live and learn.

I posted all the part numbers for the hardware you need on the 2012 impreza thread about a week ago. I have a base and needed everything too.

I'd give you the link but I'm on the mobile version right now.

The perrin bar fits. I have it installed. Pics are on the 2012 impreza thread a couple pages back.

I'm interested to see how you like the 22mm rear sway bar. I'm planning on going that route as well. I prefer a car that is more prone to oversteer

I'll let you know! I personally wouldn't do it without beefing up the front bar as well as its 22mm stock. I may try it this weekend but probably won't keep it on until I get the front

Yeah haha! I went there because their prices were a lot less than other places and they have good rep on here. I for sure won't be going through them again. I have tried to get in contact with them and can't get thru

I have a quick question for anyone that can help, I was looking at the headlamp assemblies for our cars since I wanted to order a second set to send out to get retrofitted at The Retrofit Source and I noticed the site lists the headlamps as "headlamp assy W/HID TYPE". Does that mean the headlamps they are listing are the European/Japanese HID headlamps? Thanks in advance, I appreciate it!

The Canadian Limited models come with stock HID headlights.
