04 Wrx wagon. Stage 2 open source e-tune from Johnson tuning. 167k on the engine, 160psi upon compression test in all 4 cyl's. Got her one year ago stock and she weighs 2900 now. No issues cept a slow leak in my power steering system. Being taken care of very soon. Not that the car is beaten up but it gets pushed pretty hard on a weekly basis and still runs great. I'd like to meet the subie engineers and buy them a beer.

Just sold it for 4k but has a 2002 Wrx sedan at 258k. Original engine tranny and drive system. You'll never believe me but it didn't burn a drop of oil in between changes and it was the ORIGINAL clutch. Haha I'll never buy anything but Subaru! Picking my new WRX up Monday in VA

So I had a beautiful 04 AW WRX. I named her Kandi , and against my better judgment I decided to sell her She was a true champer 132K on the clock and still holding strong, original motor, tranny, clutch, turbo and all. My mod list:

Cobb AP stage II tune
Full turboback exhaust with SPT catback
no name 3" up pipe
Megan racing coilovers Street edition
Custom painted side skirts(Me and a buddy from work spent a few hours after work a few days working on them)(Hate the stock black side skirts)
17X8 Rota Torque Flat Black
Sony eXplode head unit
Custom shift knob(fabricated at work) with the Subaru emblem with red stars and black background

Well now for the horror. Not even a week after I sold the car, the new owner blew the motor in the car. THEN he attempted to take me to small claims court trying to blame me. NOT. Cool.

No, actually, closely monitoring oil and coolant consumption. Not much more. No mods (no money for it, and see no point in racing in a different class -- I still podium finish at the high mileage).

Stock 2002 sedan w/315,000 miles (just over a half million km up here) and counting. Timing belt service was done ~10k miles ago so it's ready for another 100k. Engine still runs quiet and strong, burns no oil.
With winter tires/wheels (the forester in the background has 193k miles):

There's another 02 sedan advertised for sale locally with 300k miles on it, but I don't know if it's original motor/trans or not.

Geez, I only have 157k on mine. That's break-in period compared to you guys. I got the wagon 2 years ago to this date and have put 24k on it. 3rd owner and the first 2 owners knew how to maintain this wagon too. Glad to see with some TLC, these subies keep on chugging.

I only have 80,000 on my 06 WRX, so I don't meet the criteria in this post to be "high mileage".

This thread however gives me hope as I plan on making my stage 1 car go to stage 2 and possibly a stage 3. =]
