Default Car alarm

I just bought a forester and it has this little antenna next to driver side a pillar. It says crime stopper and I'm not finding any alarm wires or boxes any where. So does anyone know what this antenna is?

Crimestopper makes a few different things (alarms, back-up accessories, audio, etc) so it could be anything. Is it a factory radio or aftermarket? My guess is that it was an alarm / remote start and they removed it from the vehicle but left the antenna. Can you get a picture of the antenna or any kind of model number off it?

No serial number and its to cold to start any interior car work. It does have an after market stereo and they ran the antenna wire right under my drivers use floor so if my foot hits a certain spot the station gets static so does every other channel. If I move my feet around it comes back.

The antenna in question has the wire going under the floor or are you just saying the radio antenna?

Just radio antenna it goes to this box under the seat for xm and hd radio. But the antenna for crime stopper goes up the driver side a pillar and across the roof back down the passenger side and into the dash.

That's very odd. If it were an alarm I would imagine it would just go down the driver pillar and into the dash. You'll probably end up having to just follow it and see where it goes to (if anything)

Yeah I just picked up an engine hoist and some more tools so I can do timing and head gaskets but I don't have a day till next week off. Hopefully it's still in the car cause ill definitely activate it.
