Default HELP! Impreza Rotor Size

Hey all,

-Posted this on rs25.com too.
-checked out this thread - http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1265631 - they didn't specify the ABS/non-ABS models which I didn't think mattered for rotors......

I need the correct rotor sizes for a 1995 Impreza L sedan with 2.2L engine and AWD with NON-ABS and has OEM 15" wheels.

Story:
I ordered Wagner Part No. BD125367 from Rock Auto, had them installed by a local shop (since it was cold) and then noticed a few brake smells/heat.

According to Rock Auto the rotors I bought stated they fit 4WD and non-ABS with 5 lug for the 2.2L (1995). According to Advance Auto Parts (Online and In-store) they also confirmed the fitment. Having no idea what the OEM size was, I ordered from Rock Auto. Mechanic installed them and threw away the OEM ones and the Wagner Boxes. So now I cannot return them to Rock Auto.

Pulled the wheel off myself and that rotor is too small as evident by the brand new Wagner Thermoquiet pads I put on. You could see how the pad was not fully contacting the rotor and 3/4 of the pad was wearing correctly (bed in) and the other 1/4 was still brand new. Rock Auto won't take the old ones back despite the incorrect fitment based on their information.

Being said, I need a cheap (<$20 per rotor) set. According to rock auto the only ones that will fit are the reybestos 96061R. Reybestos' site states these rotors fit the 2WD and 4WD with/without ABS.

Looking at the Wagner quality (the rotors are extremely smooth) looking like they are not aggressive enough for the semi-metallic thermoquiets I put on. I am also broke and can't afford much and have no need for anything special.

Ending: Rock Auto still appears to be the cheapest but despite searches, owner's manual, forums... I cannot find the correct size. My best guess based on the mistake is that I require 260mm diameters?

Help.............

Yes. To the best of my knowledge only FWD Imprezas got the really tiny 242mm rotors. I think this explains it:

Centric part is 120.47010.

so basically I need a 260mm diameter and 24mm thickness?

Is there anything wrong with the Wagner brand ones that are cheaper? I'm sure that I could scuff them a bit to have a nice finish like those centrics
