Default 2008 Valve Cover Gasket

I'm about to replace my valve cover gasket a spark plug tube seal tomorrow cause they are leaking and causing rough idle. I have read the DIY on 2.5rs. For the 07 Model you need to "lift" the engine on the driver side. Wondering if with the 08-10 you need to lift it too? Any advice too ?

I've never had to lift the engine ... But you're gunna curse and you have to hold your tougne the right way. But it can, and regularly is done without lifting engine. Flip side to that is if your not a flat rate tech you can take your time, and lifting the engine isn't a big deal.

Lifting the engine is the FASTEST way to do this. Trying to slip the driver cover off is time consuming and can damage the seal when putting it back together. Plus it is easy to lift the engine 3 connections and lift, youre set!
