No sweat. And thumbs up for convenience.

Although, I did receive a friendly reminder from gravity this winter about available surface area on these shoes, and it's correspondence to traction while walking over some ice in the parking lot.

Yes! Yes! & Yes!
All worth the drive. Los Verdes is a GREAT City course. With great views. Rustic Canyon is tough with some blind shots. Oak Quarry is a beauty built ins rock quarry. Some very cool holes! All kept in great shape!

More on the shoes and waterproofing/etc

I bought these Eccos last year (they are leather but not waterproof from the factory)

Then did a double treatment of Sno Seal, and my feet stay 100% dry

I also won a brand new Phenom RIP x-stiff TM R11s shaft for $48 shipped off ebay. Hope to get it this week so I can try to play Saturday!

****ing Sergio

I really wish he would've attempted to pay his ball out of the water. That would've been entertaining to watch.

was nice being able to watch the final round today on the Golf Channel site. Tiger looked pretty rock steady, if he can dial in his wedges and keep putting like this Augusta should be interesting...

Meh. I just picked up a RBZ Tour and R11s driver head for $100 each. I'd consider one if I could find one with an upgraded shaft like a GD AD-DI or DI-BB, Motore Speeder, or a Diamana. Otherwise, I (you/anybody) can find a great shaft for under $100.

You're surprised?

Started the golf league again last night. Got golfer of the season(last) but didn't place due to their old handicap system. Won last night with 3 over. I chipped like **** and missed a 2' putt. Roger Dunn gift card and ProV1s, you will be mine this season.

Had the day off so I went to a 9 hole muni course ($15 all day pass) to knock the rust off. Show up and they're having a highschool tourney that's supposed to last until mid-afternoon.

Not really feeling spending $45 to play a rough 18 holes so instead I've spent the morning doing things around the house...double

I have a great condition Titliest 905r driver for sale (cheap) with a UST Proforce V2 (stiff) shaft & 9.5* loft. It's not doing anything but collecting dust in my basement at this point.

Anyone on here going to the Masters this year?

Got out for 27 holes in the afternoon...Walked 18 and rode 9 and kept score on 18 holes.

Very nice getting back out there even though I shot 23 over. The greens weren't in the best shape so putting suffered; I averaged 2 putts per hole, but it felt much worse. I had five 3 putt, all of which were due to leaving putts way too short.

My drives were holding pretty good. Only lost one out of bounds and one that was in the wrong fareway. While I wasn't logging them, I'd guess I averaged around 260 yards. There was a 275 par 4 that I was just off the green and it wasn't my best drive of the day.

Irons were okay, distances were off from what I remembered so my club choices frequently left me on the fringe or 15-20 yard chips. Also reminded me I need to dedicate time to practice that short game.

Now if only I had every Friday off.

Grrrrr.

I was 5 over on the front 9 at Newport National yesterday with a double bogey on 1. Wheels started to come off the bus on 10 with a bogey, another double bogey on 11, but I thought I reeled it back on 12 with a par.

Then someone figured they'd just put them out of their misery and took a shotgun to them starting on the par 3, 13th. A topped tee shot rolled right down the hill into the water. Drop in front of it with a 60yd wedge shot, completely under it sending it 10' into the water. Add in some bad shots, unplayable lies and other errors, I was 15 over on the back. Total and complete collapse of concentration.

Hey, at least my putting was good with 32.
