Time to check the free agent wire for some sleepers.
I was on auto draf due to something that came up. I was being semi serious.

Glad I'm not the only one then. Live drafters, did you do any better than the autodraft crowd?

JB, how 'bout a title change to make it the 2013 thread? The 2012 is making my CDO tendencies tickle.

I requested the change a month or two ago, never received a response.

Ok. I thought you could do it by editing the first post in advanced mode, a la Protmen's derp thread.

That only changes the title of the first post, not the thread itself. I do not believe you can change thread titles on old(er) threads.

I need a better 3b second option, or one at all, thanks autodraft.

I have Middlebrooks as a backup.

But I'd be quicker to deal Headley.

What's Headley's ETA for return?

Chase Headley, the 2012 National League RBI leader, may miss only the first two weeks of the season for the San Diego Padres with a broken thumb, but it's the latest setback -- if only a small one -- for a team that some believed had the potential to be one of the surprises in the National League.
The fences were moved in, at Petco, if I am not mistaken. While he may miss 2-3 weeks, I am hoping that the missed time doesn't materially impact last year's numbers.

That's not too bad. Two of my guys will be out longer, McCann and Granderson, but I drafted them pretty late. I think I got enough depth to fill in so I'm not too worried.

Fences were moved in here at Safeco too.

I was targeting Frazer, but you took him with your pick right before mine.

He placed 2nd for RoTY IIRC. Hopefully no sophomore slump, though this will be his age 27 year.

I swear, I've had Wieters at C for, like, three or four years running. I keep hoping for a breakout season. It keeps not happening.

lol, he certainly way hyped as a rookie, he hasn't been terrible though. But really who cares about catchers?

Anyone in any other money leagues? If so, when are catchers and closers going? A guy at work just had a draft and closers started going in the 3rd and were done in the 7th. WTF are people thinking? My strategy in my money league draft is to not pay for a C since it's deep and not pay for closers since you never know who is going blow up (ie I picked up F. Rodney off FA a week into the season). Just hoping this isn't going to blow up in my face.

Both of these leagues are 5x5 h2h leagues.
