Default 2006 legacy gt up pipe question

All, does the 2006 lgt have a non-cat uppipe? Can someone confirm as I have heard it was changed to a non-cat in 2006, while others have said it was in 2007.

I'm planning on upgrading to just a Cobb downpipe, running Cobb ap stage 2 with a stock exhaust. I have the manual transmission and I'm hoping that I don't need to replace the up pipe. Thoughts or suggestions? Thx.

Yes you have a cat, yes it does need to be replaced, any 02+ catless uppipe or sti uppipe is all you need. Then just do the egt resistor mod.
