yeah and after that a new engine and new transmission! do not push that guy into paying a fortune to repair his car. I got a 2006 wrx tr and I am taking it easy on modds. Stock turbo, Invidia TBE (caltess DP), Cobb Stage 2 (no overboost at all and not even using the lower wastgate map), SPT SRI, a full recirculating BPV, STI Tmic and cobb short shifter and bushing (plus some other stuff) next mod would be a VF48, protune, some sways bars and for sure some injectors. above that you will need new transmission, new engine sooner or later, issues, more money ... take it easy.

What did you have done to your '02 to make 340whp? Copy -> Paste. You'll probably need to do that to your '07.
Something telle me that he's not being entirely honest with his prior experience... These aren't the type of questions asked by one who's previously built a 325+ whp WRX

Not trying to be a hater, but I agree. But then again, he said he totaled it.... ... and I think the key word above is BUILT. Anyone can remain ignorant if someone ELSE builds your car, but it's pretty imposibble to remain ignorant if you do it yourself and do it RIGHT.

As far as 400 to the weels (480-500 at the crank) is a fairly big job if you're gonna do it right. If it's gonna take a beating (just a hunch) the whold drive-train needs beefed up, including clutch. Making all that power = more heat = Mishimoto, or __.
Trying to control it (this time, lol) = brake upgrades. Minimum, pads and fluid, if not lines and rotors, too. [besides tightening the nut behind the wheel]

And to keep it "nice and simple" and a comfortable daily driver with those power goals?.. good luck with that part. Enjoy the hawkeye... I love mine.
