Default Tuning for downpipe

My friend is letting me have his catless downpipe for cheap but it only has one 02 sensor. My tuner needs an extra bung to tune. Can I take this to a exhaust shop and get an extra 02 bung welded in there? If so, what do I tell them for diameter?

Take it and the bung (buy stainless off amazon, cheap) to a welding shop and have it TIG welded. Carbon steel bung will rust and not look pretty on your ss downpipe.

My opinion is that if you're going to be modding your car w/ a down pipe, you might as well pick up your own wide band. Innovate MTX-L is a very popular option and comes with a bung.

That said, you really don't need a fancy weld job or bung. The bung should be installed under the protection of the engine bay/firewall anyways. I welded my own with a normal wire feed. Nothing fancy is needed here.

As for the size of bung... honestly they should all be the same size. Unless you're getting motorcycle results or something(?)

the only reason your downpipe needs 2 bungs is for a wideband.

most widebands you buy will include the bung.

any shop should be able to do this in like 5 minutes for $20
