So I've been thinking about having a back to stock sale.... Really want to change things up for myself. The car isn't really in my future; and rather than see some punk around here destroy her, I'd rather part out the goodies. Everyone can inquire by text message, I have a couple of for sale ads throughout the forums that have a full interior/exterior, and performance list.

Wow. Haha I've searched and only found threads that I thought were dead..not that my car is anywhere near requiring flares. I was just curious. They look good on aspen white

I have a Seat Fab (Speedware Motorsports) bracket with Recaro sliders, I think it is just the seat itself. I'm getting used to it.

Low in the seat means perfect driving position. It's not for everyone. My Version 1 STI recaro seats are low. You get used to it though.

I don't like low seats. I like seeing what I'm driving on and to.

Try adapting the stock rails that have the adjustment lever. Mine are low. About 2" off the floor.

I'm 5'6" tall and Asian. LOL

Honestly I agree but I wanted different type of flares for my car. These will do for now until I can make some that'll fit my taste. I love the old school flared look. Nostalgic cars from my era

I appreciate the compliment. It's been a while since my car was properly photographed. It'll be time soon.

I have Recaro SR6s on Recaro mounts and sliders and I'm 5'9" and I am at a perfect height. They might be a 1/2" lower than stock but no more.

Infek: I'm 5'7. I just rock factory seats though so I need not worry.

About the Flares, who's everyone when you refer people getting them? Are you talking Subarus in general or Bugeyes? I only know of a handful of people with these flares, including myself.

There are a few bugeye owners now that have them (not all of them post) not to mention the other body styles from subarus.

Factory seats were great since I could adjust the seat towards the peddles since I hate when people sit so far back when driving.

Inked how the peddles were right there with the low seat but seeing was a little more difficult. I could see over the scoop so that's not a problem. Over the door is another story. LOL. I just adjust my side mirrors for my blind spots and I'm quite satisfied it takes a little while to get used to honestly but I liked it once I did.

Yeah I am actually getting used to it, it seems like the visibility changes but really you just lose some visual reference from the hood and can see the road just fine. I really like the way my legs are more out in front of my, I can work the pedals much better.

and you are right, my chin is right at the top of the door, just had to set the mirrors right. Still makes me a little nervous for cars sitting in my blindspot but I'm sure I'll get used to that.

I am not that tall (5'11" mostly legs) but not going to lie seats would probably make your car a lot more comfortable for you. It did for me, no more banging my knees on everything.
