I went one step further on my '04 and used a Nokya yellow bulb and also painted the high beam bowls.

I did these for my buddy's Tc a few years back

Looks good, what type of paint did you use for the yellow?

Same dilemma here, 2012 DGM. Option 1, all black yellow high beam bowl. Option 2, 2011 style black with a slightly smaller chrome ring and clear corners. Both better then all chrome but a tough choice.

Thanks guys. I used Krylon stained glass paint from Michael's. I've run the high beams continuously for hours at a time and have had zero issues with the paint and the heat. One tip though, it's better to spray one thick even coat of paint than several light coats. On mine I did light coats, on the Tc I did one wet coat and it came out beautiful. As the paint flashes off it dries perfectly translucent.

Turn signals still look very bright and visible even in broad daylight.

As far as yellow on wrb, look at my car. It's an '04 but at least you get an idea of how the colors play off of each other. I love my headlights, they're probably one of the most unique mods on my car.

Just doing a little bump on this thread for anyone interested.

The headlights are still holding up really well! No haze/fog/precipitation or whatever. Paint looks really good too. I did not use any other sealant than what was left over either.
Hope the short guide helped some guys out to do this sick mod!

Great write up btw on this! Once the weather gets a little warmer I'm doing this but still hesitant cause its so new I don't want to mess it up. I have done this mod before on my 2011 Tundra so im not new to the process. She's only got 1500 miles on it. Lol
