Its for launch control and allows you to build boost before launching. Its certainly not good for your turbo. If you are not constantly racing your car, then you probably dont need it.

So wait, it this the thing that will dump unburnt fuel into your exhaust so the after engine combustion will spool the turbo while the revs are down?

This sounds like an excellent idea and I'm sure nothing will go wrong.

This is an excellent way to break things on your car. I'd steer especially clear because it comes with wiring diagrams for half a dozen different makes and models. I think that short of drinking and driving this is probably the worst decision for an STi that you wish to continue to have function as a car.

Then watch other people blow up their crap, I mean unless you have money and knowledge sitting around to help you.

It's just an ignition cut launch control...some aftermarket ECUs have it available as well. It's definitely more aggressive than fuel cut launch control (AP, OS, etc), but if used in moderation it shouldn't be too bad. It will fry your cats though, if you still have any. I've also heard rumors that in some instances the pressure this builds in the exhaust when the fuel ignites can be enough to open your exhaust valves, which could cause interference problems. Not sure how accurate those rumors are though.

I met the owner of Bee-R in Tokyo some years ago. I asked how he came up with the name of the company. He said: "I like beer."

I would not buy an item with a manual that does not appear to come in English. Or from a seller who does not appear to be able to string together a sentence.
