Haven't had an issue with mine... And the stereo is worth it to me. Now I don't feel the need to immediately replace it like I did in the wrx.

Maybe it's not the best but the rest of the list still stands and an aftermarket navigation is $600 so 1k as an option is bs.

Is it the fact that you guys don't have the 10" sub? I get compliments on my stereo from everybody that hears it lol Maybe I'm not picky but it sounds good to me Does need a better interior....does NOT need rwd lol Standard HID would be nice....aerodynamics are fine....maybe a wider stock wheel...8.5 perhaps....and a little bit lower from the factory

Having owned a 2011 WRX previously, I do think the new WRX should receive:

Seats better equipped for holding you during hard turns
Less understeer
More engaged driving experience
At least a rear limited-slip differential (Torsen is fine)
6-speed manual (doesn't necessarily have to be the STI's)
Better fuel economy
HIDs (should be adjustable)
Lit vanity mirrors
Puddle lights
Steering wheel controls standard
Footwell illumination standard
Quicker turbo spool
Light-weight body
Hood dampers
Trunk dampers
Smaller steering wheel
18x8 or 18x8.5 wheels
Better ground clearance by maybe 1/2 an inch

The aero directly affects the mileage....

Lighter would help with both steering mileage and power.

Lower would help with all the above and if the overhang was less then it wouldn't scrape as bad.

Bigger wheels I think would be the wrong direction for the wrx. If it was smaller and lighter 17's wouldn't seem small. Then you wouldn't need big brakes or wheels for clearance

I agree with everything except the wheels ....it makes tires too expensive and the wheels and tires heavier.

I think clearance is just fine but the front lip needs to be trimmed so it doesn't hit everything. ( Idaho roads suck just like Alaska)
My BRZ a full inch lower clears my sharp angle driveway as good or better than my wrx

Pure and simple, what it needs from the BRZ CAN"T BE GIVEN

LIGHTWEIGHT!@($(

otherwise nothing, the brz engine is anemic , the hubs/brake/rims are medicore, I can't think of anything other than maintaining a low center of gravity and lightweightness and the seats.

The BRZ brakes ARE WRX brakes. With pedal feel that would make any Impreza owner jealous.

It has vented larger rear brakes... It has a stereo that doesn't suck balls. It had soft touch materials. It has a smooth transmission. It has a heavy weighted steering wheel. It gets more than 20mpg on the freeway. All of those needs to be done to the next wrx

If you can't get 20+mpg on the freeway with a WRX, then you're doing it wrong.

Didn't the GH finally get vented rears on sliding calipers?

Truth. I could get high 20's easily in my 2011 WRX. I hit low 30's on long road trips. The BRZ sees low 30's easily on the highway, but I don't drive on the highway much.

Either your highways are crazy slow like Oregon or your car is lying to ya.

Anything over 65mph was mid 20's anything close to 75 was 22 or if I drove like grandma and drafted 23.

These numbers were all echo'd by other cars like 08wrx hatch 08sti two 11 wrx sedans. The 08wrx got 1-2 more than me but by no means good mileage at any decent speed.

I'm currently averaging over 30 in my BRZ including city warmup and canyon runs

Downhill. Both ways. haha I'm serious, though! When you head down to Homer or up to Fairbanks through the mountains there are a lot of gradual climbs and quick drops.

You're right, though, because Anchorage is sea-level, the best I could get was maybe 28 mpg highway. City was 22 mpg at best, but average was about 17.

First and only time I needed to use the navigation in mine I gave up when it located me somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
