Default 2011 E63 AMG Paint Correction

Thought you guys might enjoy this solely because it's a gorgeous car.

Good friend of mine came to me with this poor, abused, and neglected 2011 Mercedes E63 AMG with the hopes that I clean it up a bit.

I'll keep this short and sweet, enjoy the pictures.

Car was dropped off with a force field of dirt and filth on it that took over 2 hours to clean and claimed the life of my microfiber wash mits.

Car was covered in swirls and RIDS

And the worst part of it all, the paint readings were subpar. Highest I encountered was 109. 8X was common throughout the hood, roof, fenders, and trunk. This was taken into account with my plan of correction.

Onto some 50/50's and correction shots

Haze was removed with further polishing steps.

After Menzerna-SF4000

And finally, the only thing that matters in a detail thread. SUNSHOTS!

Front bumper plastic was later cleaned and sealed with Wolf's Trim Guard

Thanks for looking!

Tony
