Default Power limits of Spearco TMIC?

Anyone have experience pushing the Spearco TMIC upwards of 400whp? Trying to figure out if this is what is holding me back from making the 400 club, lol. The chart below is on a mustang dyno, SeaTac area in Wa ~65deg F. Fuel is E85.

could just be the dyno. or the timing or AFR. its pretty hard to tell what the AFR is from that plot.

also, im running a gtx35 on a spearcon tmic

It's not the Spearco. There are at least 2 tuner builds on this site with a GT35 and a Spearco TMIC running 500-550whp. My own car with a rotated GT3076 and the Spearco made 424whp on 100oct (391whp on 93).

I want to say that you are running quite rich(under spool up). But that point is pretty moot as you wouldnt get much more power out of leaning it out a bit. It may bring up spool up however which translates to more tq.

Like Phatron said the plot leaves some questions. Boost control looks good but without a better fuel curve and knowing the timing curve all we can do is speculate. Was this done on a mustang heartbreaker? Because that could be it right there if you are on a very low reading dyno.

At this point, I am starting to question the maddad whisper exhaust. I believe it tapers to 2.5" at the tail pipe even though it is 3" everywhere else. Would this rob that much power? The tuner told me that it really didn't pick up that much power going from 22psi to 24psi boost. He said he felt that the car had a restriction somewhere.

From what I hear, PIA has a stingy Mustang dyno, but I really thought I would have had enough here to put down 400whp.

The local track opens for test and tune April 13th, I'm planning on going and running a couple passes to get my trap speeds.

Thanks for your replies, I appreciate the input.

Did they work the timing yet? Could be just an ultra safe tune with the timing pulled way back.

Its not a timing issue.

I dont see the exhaust being the choking point, particularly if its way back at the muffler can. On e85 you should be far more HP then me if we were on the same dyno?!? I was on a Dynapack near sea level at 85+ degrees
I have a similar setup with the older non HTA Green 850cc FMIC and at 20psi im at 391hp on 93oct.

Only thing I can think of is to check the gaskets on the TGV to spacers. I have seen them stick near an 1/8" into the air flow path, just because they are too wide. Also check the transitions from Manifold to TGV to Spacer to Heads....the smoother the transition the better.

Next time your on the Dyno take a laser temp sensor and shoot the TMIC and see what the core is at during the pulls. If its ridiculously hot that will not help either.

Thanks for the input, I'll look at the gaskets next time I tear it apart. The intercooler was cool to the touch, I checked it after every pull, had 3 large automotive fans blowing on the engine compartment. The tuner expected to see 375whp on 92, and 435whp on E85. I made 345whp @ 19 psi on 92, and 382whp on E85. It is a mustang dyno, so expected slighty lower numbers. When I only got 382 on E85, I was really wondering whats wrong. He said he felt like we hit some sort of threashold, it really didn't make any more power from 22psi to 24psi on E85. He questioned my spearco, but I know that intercooler can handle it. I can see the pressure increase on the map sensor to 24psi, just seemed like the car couldn't move the air out or something. I had a buddy put down 410whp on EQ Tunings dynapack using a maddad whisper, not sure how accurate those dynos are. He says its calibrated to read like a mustang though.
