Anything in Austin? For a city that has the "fastest growing job market," there doesn't seem like much out there...

Just tossing a few job search websites out there. Im sure they are well known, but maybe someone out there can benefit.

Indeed.com
Really like this one. Have found my wife, dad, and brother jobs using it. It collaborates a lot of different job sure sources into an easy website.

Simplyhired.com
Careerbuilders.com
Usajobs.gov

Texas parks and wildlife is also hiring around Austin area.
I also have a few more geared towards veterans and veterans assistance. My wife is hosting a veterans job fair here in McAllen, Texas tomorrow ( shes a veterans facilitator), so I can get more info, or feel free to pm me.

Oilfield companies such as Baker Hughes is hiring alot right now.

saw where some shop is wanting to hire mechanics. (big banner out front)

It's directly next to 287, on the 'east' side, between Arlington and Mansfield.

Texas - 'something' net or .net ????

HTX: Now hiring experienced mechanics

Looking for 2 or 3 mechanics to help in the shop and in the field. Experience required in construction equipment. Not looking for a trainee, not looking for entry level or converting an auto tech. Experience at another rental company is a HUGE perk.

3 store locations: check our website for a list of what we carry, hours, and locations. If working field service be aware we provide 24/7 service (alternate who is "on call") and our footprint is SE Texas.
www.champrentals.com
We take service VERY serious. Top 3 things I'm looking for: dependability, quality of work, and ability to interact with customers.

Types of heavy equipment:
Dozers, backhoes, tractors, aerial boom lifts, scissor lifts, excavators, skid steers, track loaders, hydraulic auger attachments, .... pretty much everything BUT cranes.

We could use an experienced hand with our small equipment too:
Mini-excavators, small engine, we do carbs and EFI, diesel and gas, concrete saws, electric demolition hammers, air tools, small augers, trenchers, water pumps, welders, generators.... its a really long list.

I'm in DFW area. I don't have any solid plans at the moment, but I might stay with CVS/Caremark and move to the corporate side.

It's a tough town. Too many short term contract jobs out here. No benefits besides a pay check. My contract just came to an end again.

Oh yeah I'm back in the market yet again.

Hey guys I remembered seeing this thread a while ago so I figured I'd add to my job search through the Subaru community.

I'm an undergrad at SMU majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in business admin. and also mathematics. I'm looking for an internship in DFW for this summer that will help build my resume and also interest a gear head like me.

I've been active in my job search and it might be a tad early to be worried but I've yet to hear back from anybody I had a shot with, most people want juniors/seniors (I'm a sophomore).

Anyways my grades are good, and I love working with people, so if you know of anybody looking for a hardworking student PM me and I can shoot you my résumé.

I've been turning wrenches on Mercedes and BMWs for the past 10+ years, but I'd very much like to get away from doing it for a living. I'm in central Dallas, and I'm open to any possibilities. Thanks!
