Well I'm up for a meet. Would prefer something closer to out here for a change since me and a few others end up having to drive to the other side of Corpus for a meet.

I just bought a 13 STi after owning an 03 WRX for many years. I'm getting up there in age and don't always have time to get out and about with my oil field job and family, but I do enjoy the "brotherhood" that I have experienced with other Subaru owners in the past. And I always enjoy seeing what other people have done with their cars to make them unique. I reside in Corpus and will keep my eyes on this forum, if there is a meeting up of fellow Subaru lovers, I will try my best to partake in.

Keep your mouth shut old man, not all of us are getting old, lol. But in my case its just a long drive going to the meets when they are on the other side of Corpus, lol.

Anyone know the WRB WRX that either lives in Robstown or visits frequently? I have seen it pass by the shop I work at.

If you saw me on Roddfield it was because I was heading out to Starry gun range. I think i have been there once since buying the new one. But yes I still have my buyers plates on it.

So is everyone on Facebook now? Because this thread is so dead considering that it's summer time now. Also meet a guy that works for Spohn in a '13 grey BRZ at Happypants car wash, very clean car.

Ain't much been going on lately in the crew. Guess life got pretty busy for us. My Suby is getting worse and worse slowly. Mostly the cooling system. I know as soon as I crack off the bolts on the head its going to warp pretty bad, well most likely even tho it ain't overheated yet but does run low on coolant quite often. Money has been going towards my Jeep so that I can drive it while the Suby gets redone.

That is the million dollar question in this region. Not sure how many people look at this thread anymore. On other news, I think my a/c compressor gave out on the RS

I seen a SVX down here last week. Has been parked for about a year. Has hail damage from early last year. The house looks vacant. Neighbors said theyre rarely home.

I haven't had AC in my Outback in the 8yrs I've owned it and lived in Teas my whole life, lol. Blower still works good tho. Also I've been mostly on the 3rd Coast Jeepers pages on FB and occasionally our page on FB. Also busy with side work and my Jeep.

You do remember I work in a shop all day, lol. I have found that going from AC to heat to AC to heat can mess you up and when working on a car it will make the heat feel even hotter. It keeps me acclimated to the heat. That and I was too cheap to fix the AC cause I have windows that still work, lol.

Default New to the Corpus area

I recently moved to the area and I am pretty sure I have some type of oil/fluid leak in my 2004 WRX. I was wondering if anyone knew of a reliable place or person I could take my car to to look at? Most mechanics are not familiar with Subarus and I don't feel like getting ripped off.

Thanks.

I'm a professional automotive technician and also used to work at CC Subaru. Give me a call and we can setup a time for me to look at it. I'm doing side work on both Jeeps and Subarus.
