Default 2002 wrx hitting only 6psi

Ok yesterday i installed a mbc into my car and decided it wasnt worth the risk since the car hit almost 20psi. I took the controller out of the car and reverted everything back to stock and now the car will only hit 6 psi. When i did instal the controller i had forgot to unplug the factory boost control solinoid when i had the mbc installed. Is the reason i am hitting low boost have to do with a possible burnt out factory solinoid? Any input would be amazing since i love driving my car and this is depressing haha.

No. Just take the hose off the turbo compressor nipple, slide the pill in there. Make sure the pill is located in the hose off the "T" to the turbo, not the wastegate hose off the "T". Good luck!

Good choice on taking off the MBC. MBC without a tune = KABOOM!

Re install the mbc if u wanna use it... dial down to its min setting and adjust in single increments til u reach max stock boost level in 4th gear.
