Congratulations! I'm surprised the wait times are still so high. The wait is going to kill.

I can't believe the wait times are still so long. It was understandable when I first got the car because it was right when it came out, but I always seem them on lots. Maybe your area is different.

I couldn't find a Premium WRB MT to save my life (2 Premiums in WRB on the East Coast that week, one AT and the other sold in a day)...so I ended up with a Limited WRB MT and I love it.

I ordered mine just last week as well, but in NorCal. Estimated delivery date says August 2013... Sales Manager is saying more realistically June or July.. It's a long wait unless you want a demo model with scuffs and scratches sitting on show room floor. Even then, dealers still want at or over MSRP. Ridiculous.

Wow some of those wait times are ridiculous...

first stealership i went to had one, color and options i wanted (got them to throw in the auto dimming mirror with home link for free) and drove it home same day... I couldn't imagine having to wait 5-8 months

I ordered my STi in January, just got a email stating it should be the last week of April. So the wait times are close to what they are saying. I like the BRZ, congrats on the purchase.

Don't be afraid to look out of state not only for inventory, but some great deals too. I have a few friends who were able to buy their cars at invoice in states like CO and UT

I got mine for $500 off MSRP, and it was only 1000 miles away. I originally ordered one and was 2nd in the queue at the dealer, but they couldn't give me any estimate, so I got tired of waiting.

Bought one off the lot in Massachusetts and had it shipped here. Buying it was painless, but shipping itself was a clusterf#*$. Choose your carrier wisely.

The reason for such a long wait is they produce one BRZ for every 3 FR-S. If you want the better of the two then your going to wait. Not to mention this was golden on Subaru part they retain there value, much better investment.

I'm pretty sure that's just outside the U.S with the Toyota vs subie not the scion.
