if you look at the spy pic, the fender flares have the side vents already and other fine details that you wouldn't find on a mule meant solely for testing.

Take two of these, and your stomach should be settled by morning.

beg to differ, the current "wide body flares" have vent areas and this could easily be mistaken for those. as for a powertrain/drivetrain mule, you can put it in anything that it fits. I sneak/beg to get test parts on every configuration of engine I can. Sometimes the end platform isnt important to build hours on test parts, as long as you are getting the hours you need for validation.

True, but what i'm getting at is that old model STI/WRX flares wouldn't just swap onto current gen Imprezas (of which its stated will share body panels with the WRX), they'd have to either be custom or they'd have to be actual production versions. Which it is...i don't know and that's if my conclusions are close enough to true

Chicago is under 5 inches of water. I hope my car parked at O'Hare makes it. More importantly, i hope my 6pm flight back to ORD doesn't get delayed and or cancelled.

Getting on to LSD at Hollywood was about a foot of water or more. I did more water crossings this morning than I've done at 100 acre. But I still got to work in about 45 minutes, it wasn't much worse than normal rush hour.

Yeah, it looked bad up that way. Definitely bringing the Jeep up this weekend.

What do you meen a bierbike? I like the thing I saw downtown, looks like a lot of fun...I will see if I can find a picture. I first saw it in Nashville and then here on Mass Ave. It is a rectangular trailer if you will with a bar that you sit at. the bar tender is in the middle and everyone sits at the bar and peddles.

I would say I'm surprised, but you led off with 'Eugene' and it became acceptable.

So many "minds were blown"

..I just did a google image search for "Eugene saturday market" for old times sake. Yep. That's what I remember Eugene is like. It really wasn't just a drug induced flashback...
