It will be a little while till I get DSLR pictures but I'll give you a short review for now. Install was really tedious as I have never done it before, but spend most of your time prepping if you do go through with it. I actually had to go out and buy some longer screws, washers, and nuts for the supplied brackets that hold the new projector's in since the stock one's are not even close, so taking your time. The only other obstacle I overcame was the routing of the morimoto ballasts. All 08+ headlights have slots on the underside which are made for the oem STi matshuita ballasts, but they are 35w so I chose not to go that route.

Initial impression: Cutoff is significantly better! The foreground lighting appears to be much brighter. My fogs with yellow overlays seam to be non-existent now lol. For the price ($100 for projectors& brackets, $160 for ballasts, bulbs, & high-beam splitters), you cannot beat it. If you are comfortable with DIY's and rather putting your headlights in the oven, then I'd say go for it! lol.
Here's a few pics from the process:

Haven't posted in a while so I'll catch you guys up on what I have done recently. Glad that mod season is back!

-I installed my Perrin exhaust with UEL Rallisport headers (I'll post a video soon). All I can say is, wow. Perfect sound!
-Reworked my coils a little and lowered the car more
-Received, painted and installed the STI wing
-Rebadged the "Outback Sport" to a more slanted "OB Sport"
-Perrin short throw shifter
-Last but not least, I filmed my first YouTube short so check that out below, Tips are welcome, I'm a photographer not a videographer so I really have no idea what is good or bad.
http://youtu.be/Bf3w8z48pGw

Enjoy!
Nicest OBS I've ever seen. Do those mirrors come stock? I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.

I think I remember reading somewhere that '08+ 2.5i doesn't have a regular PCV valve. It doesn't say anything about it in the maintenance schedule either.. Now I have to go look that up because it's bugging me too, I just did my 30,000 mile maintenance.

There's a part for it on Subarugenuineparts.com.
I just ordered one since it was only $10 and seems easy to replace lol

Cool, maybe I'll get one too. If those things stop working properly, or get sticky, I know it isn't good..

Cracked my 36 a few weeks ago on my 08... I wanted to cry. lol I think I've been doing 1k a month for a little while. :-\

Yes, the (tape) tpms was annoying. I never got my winter set reflashed. Now I'm back on my summer set and it's fine.

Savannah, as she sits now.

About to hit 95k KM's. that's roughly 60k miles. 08, running strong. Not bad considering I basically drive for a living.

New basket came in the other day. Sorry for the dark photos.

Now I can take the recycles to the depo. And boy do I have a lot.

Awesome! I plan to do this during the summer! I drive all highway to school during fall, winter and spring. So since I drive at night back to school I figured I'd treat my self to something I'd use. Where did you order from?

Yeah they are an awesome upgrade hah. To be honest the high-beams with these projectors are phenominal (straight rally lights it seems like ).
I ordered through Lightwerkz as they sometimes have better prices than theretrofitsource (which is basically the same thing).
Also how much did those sti mirrors cost you? Close to $500 when all said and done right? Do they have the power folding function as well?

Wowza...100k on the 08 nice.

My 08 was paid for in cash. I plan to buy a new car Fall 2014 for my birthday, I MAY or may not jump Subaru ship because I'm looking at used BMWs and Audis (awd love of course A7 *drool*)...but we'll see what the new WRX looks like around my birthday.

As for the headlights, if someone wants to buy mine, I would sell at a fair price.

I have the Morimoto Bixenons with the OEM Subaru ballasts, clear corners, perfectly aligned and all work done by Performance Auto Solutions (which specializes in retrofits like Lightwerkz). I'm thinking of going with a different Xenon setup and rather than reopening these as I have an extra set of OEM headlights.

My auto transmission has been clunking and shifting hard ever since I got my car. Only thing I absolutely hate about it.

Mine has too since 40/50k miles (stupid out of date 4-speed) but it's gotten much worse recently.

These cars must be boring as hell to drive with a 4 speed auto.

For short trips to the shop I sometimes prefer the gf's matrix with a 4eat. But other than that its brutal.

Have you tried a new transmission mount/bushing? Might have worn down the rubber one causing some shifting in the transmission no pun intended.

Also I noticed when I switched to the lightweight pully my car shifted much smoother as well. I can hardly tell it changes gears aside from the engine rev.
