Got the car back from k&n
Unfortunately they will not be making the intake kit for our car.

They said the Mas air sensor was really tricky when given more air.
And the car gain very little horse power

The stock intake design is about the best I have ever seen. I'm not surprised

That's nice to hear.

Please explain what makes the stock intake design so good. How do you qualify one intake design vs. another? I wouldn't know how to compare intake designs and know that one is superior to the next.

Figured, the only viable mod that I've heard for the MAF sensor NA motor is the hybrid mod which replaces the piping from the MAF sensor to the intake manifold. CAI/SRI are bad juju...

Most intakes these days are designed well and are not restricting airflow. And typically, engine bay temperatures are near ambient when the car is moving at speed. While some engines will see a small benefit when including a tune, aftermarket intakes are largely for making noise.

These are confirmed at an even 1 inch drop all around?

Yes it is. But my car is a daily driver and being that low is not practical for me.

How much lowered is that red hatchback? Is that more than the 1" that some people are talking about? I'm guessing that's more like 2"?

That's at least 2" thats the beauty of coil overs. Dump as much as you want then raise it when you get sick of it. But I don't want to spend the money LOL...

Just got this in the mail today:
AEM 28-20304 DryFlow Air Filter : Amazon.com : AutomotiveAEM 28-20304 DryFlow Air Filter : Amazon.com : Automotive

Initial impressions are good. Seems very well made and high quality. We'll see how it holds up after a few cleanings.
