So I'm taking the advice of a fellow NASIOC member, and starting this thread.
Since the other thread is strictly for the cool guys with Ver7+ ej207's, lol, I thought I'd give us OG ej207 guys a thread to shred!
I am currently in the process of a Ver5 STi Type-R swap. It was almost a Ver6 RA ltd, but the price was just right with the Type-R. Click HERE to Peep The Swap
Anyways, I am trying to dig up as much useful info as I possibly can on these pioneer ej207's.
-What kind of power can they handle stock?
-What mods are required to hit 300hp?
-Max hp you got with your builds.
-What are the weak points?
-What are the best beginning mods?
One of the main things I would love to have is the actual SPECS of the engine, are they all the same?

Also, I would like to hear your experiences with your ver5/6 build, and hear some tips/pointers on what to do or not do when approaching a certain point in the build.
Comparisons of different brands of parts and which ones you prefer. Best websites to get certain parts, and where to find those "Hard to Find" Parts. Basically, I'm fishing for it all so that I can make the most out of this build. This is the 2nd one i've owned, and I've rebuilt a Ver6 before, but just the engine with OEM parts. I've never done a complete swap like RYAN23, AMS Mike, or DEVILTEG, and I've seen SIMER's fresh ass build with the 20g shortblock and all of his Ver5 RA parts to complete it, and there are just so many legit builds on these Forums, so it would be sweet if I could get all ur 2Cents, maybe make a Dollar. Haha stupid I know.
So here it is... Hopefully we can get some useful info together to make all of our experiences better!
