yeah it even amazes me when i look back at all these pics. I bought the car brand new in april 2001. Had a gt35+nos in 2003, then carbon fiber phase, then back to stock, then decided to see what i could do with ebay parts....then i just said screw it and decided to rip it all apart. i've had it up for sale like 10 times, but could never bring myself to sell it after all the time and money i had put into it.

The crappy part is that all the drag strips have closed in socal. We only have 1 left.....so i will probably run it a few times then switch out the brakes/wheels/tires and give road racing a try.

At least you won't have the 16bit ecu right?

that was the first thing i ripped out and sold

i have an AEM to use. but i still might throw in a stock ecu.....just to say i did it on the stock ecu lol. shortly after i sold it is when cobb released SD for the 16 bit cars....so i could have used it without having to deal with the MAF limit and half mafing and all that crap.

Not to jack your thread, the SD tuning for 16 bit intrigues me, but I'm so tired of ****ing with it, I don't want to go through the hassle. Or is it that bad?

all you have to do to switch is relocate teh IAT sensor to post intercooler. then retune it.

if you're considering it, you should read this http://accessecu.com/cobbtuningweb/s...sity_Guide.pdf

progress , Ron has turned into quiet the fab'er since this started, alot was done by him with little help, also now can do some pretty clean tig welds practicing on some scraps, not something everyone can say they can do when its not their day job, Ill try & find a pic of that, also that window in the first pic is now mounted
