Default External Wastegate Uppipe Kit with TiAL MV-R 44mm Wastegate reviews?

Anyone have any reviews on this?
my setup right now is
cobb intake+airbox
cobb DP
invida exhaust
cobb AP
and some gauges.

was thinking about adding this but can't find any reviews on it, and anyone with and external WG have any issues with it being to noisy in the car?

half the exhaust gasses are being dumped out into the atmosphere right under the passenger floorboard. Its very noisy when the gate opens! lol

If that is a real concern, this isnt the setup for you.

I have one and love it. Would suggest just save you some money and buy the 38mm, you dont need a 44mm.

You know what a train sounds like?? Depending on your tune, When the gate opens at a set psi it will sound like you took your headers off. I had a 06 wrx with a 20g EWG 44mm pushin 21 lbs. At around 10 psi it opened and it would scare people I passed.

well it only opens when boost comes in play. So it won't be open all the time, from the few videos i found it does sound pretty nice

did you have to upgrade your injectors/fuel pump?

money isn't much of a problem and i do plan on upgrading the turbo in the future so i might as well get the 44 since it comes with the kit.

From a power / tuning / performance standpoint .... what kind of gains would a user see, in comparison to the stock Internal gate of a bolt on turbo. Better boost control is the obvious, but ive been curious as to what gains a user would see as far as performance and numbers are concerned.

It takes work away from the turbo. Will deff be a gain in a Ewg. Turbos only concern now is spinning instead of that and working the Iwg. I have a Gs uppipe and tial 44 and i love it.

Only opens at full boost. Scares drivers and people. Dumps under my pass seat as well. I have a 1ft dump tube instead of the small one that comes stock. Mine passes the cv axel.

An ewg will not add power to your setup that wasn't already potentially there. Also bigger isn't necessarily better. U need to match the needs with the specs.
