It's looking to go that route. I may go with a BW 35r comparable turbo. FMIC vs TMIC has different response which was what I wanted out of a 1.5 scroll TMIC setup. O well I guess the safer more powerful route is better to take
I would look into the Borg Warner 83-75 (their equivalent of the 35R.

I ran one on my 2.7L stroker setup with Full-Race piping with great results!
FYI the engine also had ported heads and Kelford cams, so it should be a farily good indicator of the results you can attain..

Below is a link to the dyno plots.

any suspension mods?? the rear bushings were so soft on my 08, it made launching the car impossible with my 35r. Subrame would go crazy and the car would pop out of gear. Id suggest going with the full bushings, i have the whiteline inserts now, and they helped out alot, but will be going to the full whitline bushings after my engine build is complete.

I have quite a bit of suspension work done already and will be doing more. I actually have some AST4200s on order as well as Powerflex bushings.

very nice choice in Coilovers, they are the last thing i have to do to my suspension, will most likely go with some RCE's though . Stock springs are so soft i think it contributes to the wheel hop a good bit too.

I've pretty much eliminated most hop through the subframe/rear diff insert bushings and replacement of the super soft rear diff member bushing. I plan to replace the rest of the bushings over time. I already did the front bushings/suspension. By next years track season this car would probably be very close to a race car minus the roll cage. It's a DD so that won't go in till much later.

You can get more details on my cars page on IWSTI on the suspension setup:

Do you realize you bumped a 3 year old thread? A little more patience may be needed for the op to respond.
