Default Turn in Concepts rear suspension bushings - 2 years later

In case anyone was wondering how these things will hold up, I decided to pull out the rear trailing arm bushing when I switched back to summer tires last week. They weren't making noise or anything and nothing changed with the feel or handling of the car. I just wanted to see how they were holding up since a shorter lifespan is one of of those things you hear about poly bushings. These were installed in Feb 2011 so I think I was one of the first people to get a set of these and my car has seen pretty much everything imaginable from auto-x to daily driving, long highway trips, rough roads, washboard gravel, ice, and snow. I love how balanced and predictable it handles in every condition, partly thanks to these bushings.

Upon removal:

Everything came out easily by hand after two winters in Montana, while the stock rear suspension bushings have a tendency to seize to the bolts. I had to cut off both the rear toe bolts to get these installed even though I had done an alignment and adjusted them with no issues less than a year earlier. These nice stainless steel crush tubes still look brand new:

After cleaning:

Insides are still perfect:

This was the only wear I saw:

Didn't really see any reason to check the other bushings plus I didn't want to pull my whole rear suspension apart in the driveway. Bushing still felt really slippery thanks to that graphite impregnation and everything went back together easily by hand. It is nice to have the summer tires on again.

I'm in Missoula, moved back here from LA about a year and a half ago.

And holy crap I forgot how well this car turns with the summer tires on. Thanks TIC, RCE, Whiteline, and Kartboy for all making awesome parts.
