Thanks! Weather was really great for racing today. I don't remember what it was...I remember I couldn't hear my own car over it and it was pulling a wheelie lol.

you need to get some videos up of you racing, i want to see you launch. Do you use launch control? and how hard to you launch would you say?

I was using launch control.... I'm pretty sure I set it to around 4500rpm. I logged the runs on the AP so I'll take a look. I do a quick slip of the clutch, it smells horrid after the run but it isn't slipping yet.

I keep the hood open in the staging lanes to minimize heat soak. I try to keep the coolant temp around 190F. After each run I put my hand on the intercooler, it was slightly warm on the inlet side but felt cold to touch on the outlet side. I could also touch the turbo heat shield for a second or so without getting burned. I think the blanket really helps out.

you make me want to go back to the track before it gets too warm out and try my luck to see what kind of ETs and traps I can get. You have motivated me sir.

very impressive. did using launch control result in any false knock and removed timing? I'm guessing not judging by your impressive traps! nice!!

did you use FFS or power shift or none of the above?

Thanks! I still haven't looked at my logs but I'm going to assume it didn't have false knock as well. Last year I was running open source with a torqued performance stage 2 tune and it pulled timing when using launch control. I was running 12.6 @ 103 lol.

No flat foot shifting. .. I use the clutch every time but shift as fast as the trans will let me.

Great run man!! A trap of 113 is enough to sneak into the 11's. If you get into the 1.6 60' range, you could make it into the 11's on 93 which is super impressive for stock turbo.

I've dyno'd it before but not with this setup. At the time it was only 267 whp on a mustang dyno at Dynotech Tuning in Seekonk, Ma.

I was thinking about lighter wheels and better tires to crack in the 11's. I'd really like to do it on 93... I'm not quite ready to jump on the E85 bandwagon yet. Closest station is about 1 hour from me.

Good Job Nate! I see you decided to forgo the 1000's for now. You don't really need them until you run E85 anyways.

Nice damn timeslip. I think you could get that 60' down a bit and with that trap you should be singing 11s!

Thanks, hopefully I will be heading up again this Sunday for the Import Faceoff. I didn't spin at all so I might bump my launch rpm up and see what happens. I had my tires at about 19 psi.

Wow, that's impressive man. I have yet to take my car to the strip, but I have the same mods + some 750CC injectors & EBCS. That is def. some motivation to get down there and run it, getting into the 11's would be a great achievement.

My car dynoed at 370hp/340tq and my best time is 13.3. I was told I need a new clutch. I think I just can't drive this thing.

I don't remember...that was back in November. I know my 60' was like 1.8. Nd I did that without LC or FFS. Every time I used them my times got slower.
