Post Finally 4/2 pots installed!

After months of research and waiting for the right parts, i finally installed 4/2 pots in the baja and what a difference. No bull. I tried ebc pads, then ebc pads and rotors, which are straight trash, and ebay rotors and i still wasnt happy with the braking.
I went ahead and purchased duralast rotors and front pads for the setup. The rear 2 pots came from japan with Endless pads and they brake awesome. The baja used to nose dive when i applied the brakes, now i can feel all wheels are braking and I am just happy that it's all done. I will post up some pics one i can upload the photos from the camera.
By the way, the rear rims clear the 2 pots but the front missses like a eighth of an inch. Probably with spacers, it would clear the front calipers.

Parts:
Front rotors- duralast for Baja
Rear rotors- durlast Vented rotor for 2005 Legacy limited

Rear adapters for rear 2 pots 98 - 2006 impreza RS

And of course Subaru 4/ 2 pots

I painted as well the front rotors to prevent rust because they tend to look ugly when they are all brown. hopefully the paint will hold up. Once I have the car all polished up, i'll post up more.

Thanx, I thought about getting them repainted but I just felt it could wait. Maybe it's a project i'll do next year. I just like spacing out these projects so I can look forward to doing something to the car like the black and silver WRX pedals that's going in next.

I thought about it but i was concerned finding the right ss lines for the car. It is somewhat a hassle to find aftermarket parts. If i install them, do you think its worth the effort? I did not attempt to do any research any ss lines it wasnt a priority but if there is noticeable difference, then i am down to upgrade.
Maybe i'll install them after install the WRX pedals. I don't mind taking apart again so if anyone has experienced improvement with ss lines, please let me know. Thanx

SS lines make a big difference in pedal feel. They get rid of some of the mush and provide a more linear feel.

Should I look up the SS lines for baja or legacy?

I bought my SS lines from rotora. They custom made them per order. Sadly I hit black ice before I could install them, so they might be up for sale soon.

Awesome! Is there a DIY write-up somewhere? A list of parts, etc.?

as far for the parts needed for the upgrade, I mentioned it on the first thread. I could do a write up for it because the install was very simple. I am going to try to add it to the sticky page for installs.

I would start shopping around for the calipers because their prices range.
