I bought my sport there at Faulkner two months ago, they threw in the rubber mats, nets and some other stuff, was very satisfied. Taking it back there for it's first service, they are only about 10 minutes away.

Another Khaki XV owner here.

I'll get pics posted ASAP. After two weeks (and finally 1000 miles, so she's now broke in,) I LOVE it. Premium CVT.

After my 310 HP / 300 Ft/Tq (crank, estimated) 2010 Honda Accord EXLV6 Sedan, this is no disappointment at all. I'm truly glad to be back to Scooby Doo (had a WRB 02 WRX Wagon.)

Congrats all!
Jim

I've had my Dark Grey Premium w/ CVT and PP#2 for about 3 weeks now and have logged almost 1500 miles. I'm getting 30+ mpg (calculated after fill-ups) and so far haven't missed the space I gave up in my '02 Outback. I ordered the upgraded speakers from Subaru for the simplicity of the plug and play aspect and I hope I like the results after I install them. I installed the under seat sub in my Outback but the one for the Crosstrek just takes up too much room in the back. I wish I knew where to give SoA that feedback.

I really like the OEM Kicker speaker upgrade package. I had the dealer throw them into the deal (freebies) at purchase. Installed myself on day 2 of ownership.

These in concert with the Helix PP50DSP amp are a fantastic, stealthy upgrade.

As for the sub, I agree. I wish Subaru would have made an underseat unit. The Kicker 10" unit for the back takes up way too much space. We need to work an older unit into the new mix!

The older units fit in the new impreza I think, I don't see why the xv would be different

Seriously? If that be the case, I'm interested in an under-seat unit!

A few quick pics I took right after delivery..

Don't mind the "GEN 8" license plate. I'm still waiting on my title to get new plates!

The 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid is a hybrid version of the funky crossover hatchback the automaker introduced for 2013. The hybrid model is expected to get 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. This isnít a huge jump from the gas modelís 25/33 mpg rating; the hybridís 300-pound weight gain probably doesnít help.

yeah i think the gas version of the crosstrek should be everyones first choice

It sure would be nice if they'd bring the diesel engine to North America rather than a hybrid.

Agreed. If they'd had the turbo diesel 6-spd manual I'd OWN it!

But truthfully, I'm more than happy with what I bought...

apart from stealing the side view mirror or some other part off the hybrid, I would say the hybrid was barely an afterthought and they could have just slapped that drivetrain onto the regular imp cvt and got maybe a 40 highway.

Absolutely agree.... especially with such "mild" gains...

yeah they need to rethink the current xv love fest, its a nice car but its still just a lifted regular imp, why every vendor has been making parts for the the xv and not the regular imp is pretty annoying especially 2 years after its release, can you say light bars anyone. The hybrid would no doubt have been better served and attracted more customers if it were on their highest epa rated car. How many hybrid owners do you know that go offroads or require a higher riding vehicle. I have yet to see a lifted prius but I could be wrong. Without a doubt the xv line would have been properly served with a diesel variant for the US, hybrid drivetrain not so much.

If anyone is looking to sell their XV wheels, let me know. I need one after some lady changled lanes into me a couple weeks ago. Just some minor scratches, nothing mechanical broken. She had most of the damage from her sliding/side-swiping my wheel as it was moving.

Thanks!

Wow, that sounds like a close call! Did you have just wheel damage but no body damage? I can't even visualize in my head how that's possible, since the wheels are recessed into the fenders....

Had to search, but I figured there HAD to be a thread for these things.

Here's mine. The wheels are Motegi.

Note the reflection of one of my old imps that I sold to a buddy.
