Default Clocking the turbo

I just got my kinugawa 60-1 and I want to re-do my intercooler piping. I was thinking I could rotate the compressor housing either down wards or pointing to the boost controller and run the piping that feeds into the fmic that way. I want to do this to improve my intercoolers effectiveness and to make a hot and cold side of the engine bay. Has anyone done this before or know someone who has? Picture's and/or any info if available would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to simply rotate the compressor cover. Is this a T3 or stock location, if stock location..........anything is possible, but i doubt that will work.

Why do you think it wouldn't work?
