edgar, I have almost all the parts from my VF48 build that I am getting ready to sell. PM me if you are interested and I can go though with you what I have on hand. I have a VF48 that has less than 5 k miles on it. As well as a bunch of supporting parts for it.

Default 07 wrx turbo

I did a google search and it led me here but it was backwards of what I asked and didn't really answer my question. Can a 02-05wrx turbo fit my 07 with no modification . I'm looking for a oe replacement and the 02-05 are cheaper but according to the list the same . Thank you for reading my question.

This could use an update? I don't see some of the more modern Blouch stuff, or the Litchfields. Love it as an OEM reference, though!

I just wanted to rant for a minute because everytime I check on the recent posts in this thread it is the same thing over and over...

...so I just wanted to say that while everyone is correct that this thread is outdated on the specifics of the available turbos currently on the market, it is still an OUTSTANDING starting point for people looking to determine what size turbo is best for their desired power and spool. Once they determine a ballpark size turbo, they can start looking at the available turbos on the market and see what ones meet those desires they used this page to determine. I am a big fan of people doing most the leg work in their research; otherwise they don't learn anything. When my customers come to me looking for advice on turbos, I usually will point them in the direction needed based on their personal desires and needs, but I will let them do most the research and decisions from there. They learn more and appreciate more during the build process this way.

Also, any one of the people stating the thread needs to be updated could easily take this thread, quote it, and then start a new thread with this info plus the updates needed. Obviously, doing a thread like this takes a good bit of time and effort to collect and format all the information, and instead of people taking the time to complain about how much it could use an update, they should take that time to start compiling an updated thread for the community.

...okay, end rant...just needed to get that off my chest...

Great list!

I'm not seeing the specs for the 2013 WRX and STi turbos, does those two cars have the same turbo now since the WRX is making just as much power as the STi is now? I cant find a straight answer to this, I have no plans putting a STi turbo in my WRX, just had a discussion with a friend about this. Can anyone correct us?

Thanks.

Newbie, 2003, just wondering, my boost gauge is on it's way and I want to get started with mods. What is the stock motor putting out in boost psi?

Thanks
