Oh, yeah I agree with that completely. I don't think it will matter to me, I want to trade in for a BRZ or Focus ST in a year or two. All was well and good, then I drove that BRZ. That god damn car is perfection on wheels.

For sure. I looked at the FRS first, but the tiny RWD wouldn't agree too well with the amount of driving I do in the amount of snow we get in PA. haha

You're probably better off asking people who actually own a WRX. I'd bet my next few paychecks that the clutch is different than what's in the little Impreza 2.0i

Search "James Wilson"....I can't remember exactly the details but I remember discussion of bent suspension components and him posting a video of autox his impreza

It's your car, if you think it can handle a 24mm rear sway bar and you are willing to "pay to play" go for it. Tracking a car can be very hard on it, so can city streets..

At dealer to get free wiper blades

Edit: that was painless, less than 15 minutes. If I can I might have to start coming to this dealer instead

sorry for posting this after i posted a topic thing on it...not sure which is the correct place.

Ill delete my thread if needed. sorry mods if I posted/created incorrectly etc.

anyways, i was hoping to get those with SWP (satin white pearl) impreza 2012+ input on the paint of their cars.

For those with the SWP (Satin White Pearl) finish. Has anyone noticed that the front bumper and the rear bumper paint color changes over time and doesnt match the white pearl color of the rest of the body/hood??

I've noticed that my front bumper and rear have changed colors to almost a yellowish tinge. I am rather pissed that the car is essentially two toned.

will post pics once get a chance to get a good image of it

I wash my car regularly and wax it about every 2 weeks. So what the hecks gives??

Logistics. The other dealer is in the same town I work in (40ish miles away from my home), this one is similar distance but opposite direction. So if it's a day like today where I don't work really no big deal, but in a day I do work really far out of my way

Hey guys, I've been looking into plasti dip. Is it really as easy to remove as everyone says online? I don't really dig my stock silver wheels and would love to get them either black or gunmetal (even better), but I'm not about to paint them with anything I can't easily remove so I can resell the car as "stock", whatever that means these days.

As promised. A few quick snaps. Unfortunately, my Flickr Pro account ran out, so they're only JPEG, not RAW. But they still look decent. Canon 60D, unedited.

What's your opinion of it on factory sport wheels? I'm looking for something safe to help clean my wheels that will not eat the finish. I had bad luck with my chrome wheels on my truck. I used something guy at autozone recommended for cleaning. It cleaned well, but then later my chrome started peeling. I'm skid ish so to speak....

Does anyone know the torque specs on the mounting points for the rear sway bar and endlinks? I'm getting a whiteline 22mm and endlinks in Thursday and want to do it right. Or does it even matter?

It also works nicely for laundry and in the dishwasher. It has been removed from detergents due to EPA regulations.

Not to be a jerk, but use the search this thread function. All of this was posted in the last 4-6 weeks

It is amazing, I wonder if it is harmful to rubber because I want to use it to clean my stock wheels too! I was using a green scrubbing pad be l because I am trying to make sure I got everything sufficiently scuffed in prep for paint otherwise I think it is powerful enough that just a normal rag would work on wheels that have been cleaned regularly. I'm will have to do some searching.

Tighten the Stabilizer Link Assembly to 28 ft-lb. Tighten the Clamp - Stabilizer Bushings to 22 ft-lb.

What size are the bolt heads on the rear sway? I was going to inspect myself but haven't had the chance yet and wanted to pick up a wrench to use with my socket rather than a stupid crescent wrench (a bad idea I know).

Would you believe they used to put that stuff in cereal? Kix used to have it as an ingredient when I was a kid. My dad was a painter, and he used TSP all of the time to prep surfaces for paint. Needless to say my mom freaked out when she read that Kix had TSP as an ingredient.

It's a degreaser AND it's good for you! hahaha....

Default company...

My car had company on the street the other day:

Both look good, I think the fact that I saw this two-tone subaru often near where I work influenced my decision to go for the rare, coveted, and now discontinued two-tone...

12, 13, 14, or 15. I can't remember. probably best to have all popular metric sizes on hand for other things.

this is a pretty darn good deal IMHO (you really want 6pt sockets if at all possible)
http://www.sears.com/craftsman-10-pc...54000P?prdNo=8

and if you have a harbor freight, but 12 pt so more chance to round things off over time
