I'm thinking of hanging my wheels too get everything painted, does that seem reasonable? The part I am most concerned with is the clear coat. I bought some Nason 2 part urethane clear and one I mix that I need to be able to shoot all wheels and both sides with not much waiting. I'm hoping with the quality clear coat I shouldn't ever have to do the wheels again!

McGard Lug Nuts:
McGard 84554 Chrome Cone Seat Wheel Installation Kit (M12 x 1.25 Thread Size) - For 5 Lug Wheels : Amazon.com : AutomotiveMcGard 84554 Chrome Cone Seat Wheel Installation Kit (M12 x 1.25 Thread Size) - For 5 Lug Wheels : Amazon.com : Automotive

seem to be a perfect fit for the car, although they are about 1/4" longer than the stockers so they do stick out. I installed them on one 1 wheel and will test drive it tomorrow (100ish miles) and see if anything funky happens (shouldn't, but just in case i have the stockers in the back)

quality is excellent from what I can tell, just need to find a 6pt 13/16" socket as the only one i have is a 12pt

I'm not liking the extra length of those lugs. I prefer a more flush appearance. But that's just my opinion, so no offense intended.

while i agree, it is the only size they make in this style. it seems like almost all aftermarket lugs are either longer than stock, or have open ends, so I went with the ones with enclosed ends. and my OEM ones look worse by the day it seems, over 1/2 of them are rusting, and it isn't even on the part where the socket contacts them

plus it came with 4 chrome valve stems for my new wheels. can't complain for 35.00

Yeah, whenever I see other Impreza Sport hatchbacks on the road, I think "Nice looking car. Hey, that's what I'm driving too!"

When I see Sport Premiums, they're usually being driven by young to middle-aged guys. The non-Sport models seem to attract an older demographic.

Trying to decide if I should go with Single or Dual exhaust tips on my BRZ Exhaust. Your thoughts?

Either way, I'm going to be cutting into that bumper a little more to accomodate the longer tips. I was thinking dual exhaust to mimick the WRX's look. Once I've cut in, I'll do the same "finisher" around the edge with that Door Edge Guard I put on there before.

I've mostly seen guys driving new model Imprezas. There's a girl I work with who has the exact same car as me, which is kind of weird. Old ladies tend to drive older Foresters, Outbacks, and Outback Sports.

Post pictures, flyboy!! Can't wait to see 'em!

I wonder if anyone has put one of these hoods on their Impreza? This got posted on here awhile ago and I just found it again. All this does is give me ideas for a WRX-ified Impreza Hatch. Drop the 2.0i Direct-Injected Turbocharged Boxer in there and paint-match this hood.

So, I just got my whiteline 22mm rear sway, and stupid me mistook the support braces for endlinks. I'm not complaining that I got better support braces, the stronger the better, but I still have the stock endlinks. Are bigger endlinks required and would I blow up the stockers with this bar?

I would definitely go with the aftermarket endlinks if you are gonna bigger than the 19mm rsb.

Any suggestions on aftermarket endlinks? I don't want to bust a ton of money, all they have to do is survive.

Maybe these, but you'll need confirmation from someone more knowledgeable than me that they are compatible.

They certainly look beefier than our OEM endlinks.

Someone suggested getting that, but the company selling it was in japan, and wanted a minimum purchase of 2 I believe, and shipping was ridiculous $$$

I had kartboy endlinks in my 05 STI. They are bulletproof and more than you need in the 2.0i Impreza.

At this point I'm seriously considering returning the rear sway and getting a strut tower brace. I'm a bit short on cash at this point and wasn't planning on spending an extra $125 over the 240 I already spent on the upgraded rear sway. Has anyone here run a 22mm rear sway bar? If so, what did you do for endlinks?
