Those are 225-45-17.. on 17x8 wheels. I think I could fit 235 or 245 on there no prob. They are very slightly stretched, but they are Kumhos, so not sure if they run big or run small, or what.

^ Interesting to know. I will probably try 235 next if I go up in size.. but I might just stick with 225 when these 400 treadwear Kumhos wear out. They have amazing grip compared to stocker 205-55-16 on tiny steelies.

Installed my "summer setup"

Definitely like the look of the 17's over my old stock 16 premiums.

hey guys, I am trying to get my 08 2.5i to go a little more fast this summer. I have the tsudo catback. I have the hatch back. I plan on picking up the uel headers here soon, some suspension mods and then was thinking about a tuner.

I have the tsudo catback exhaust and no matter how I hang it, even replacing the hangers, it still sits pretty low with stock ride height. So if I do decide to do suspension work I wont be able to lower it much, I am from southern Pa and the roads out this way are not very low car friendly. I am not looking to spend a fortune on like ksport ones I don't need to get the highest quality available just something that will make the ride more fun and not horribly uncomfortable since its a dd and already has racing seats in it. I also was thinking about just going the strut route and not lowering it, not sure yet. so as far as suspension any suggestions?

I know its a n/a tune and wont do a whole lot, but I was wanting a 2 step really bad.

Does anyone offer a tuner for our cars that has 2 step capability? I am pretty sure that a accessport does but if anyone knows any others that are cheaper Id much appreciate it.

Does anyone know if a tactrix cable has 2 step capabilities?

I apologize I know these questions had to be answered before I just am hopping on here real quick while at work and don't have time to read through all 584 pages on this thread.

If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

This has been answered probably every 15-20 pages on this thread AND the 08+ thread.

You will not get any power gains.. If you get an AP (rare to find) it will gain you MAYBE 5hp, although the feel is heavily improved.

Stick to suspension only and you will definitely feel "faster". It's not always about power. These cars are plenty fun around the twists going 40mph with some solid suspension.

Oh and... Before you start any modding, PLEASE read through both of these threads completely. You may change your mind a few times on what you want to do. A lot of us guys have gone through the loops already and have given our thoughts on the matter.

You're going to wear out your ignition barrel/lock.. that looks too heavy to be bouncing around off the end off a key. Heavy keychains alone are enough to wear them out prematurely.

Do you know what 2-stepping is...?

Retard the engine timing and max out the fuel pump so the combustion cycle is happening in the turbo, terrible for your turbo but we don't have one anyways....

Both of my sisters have, but they both had 20 key chains for 3 keys for some reason.

Need rear control arms? I can give you a deal haha. Honestly I wish I would have went with a lower offset cuz its not as flush as I would want it to be. Maybe +30 or lower

Aftermarket Springs on stock struts is a no-no. (You can do it if you want but it will shorten the life of the struts drastically) Coilovers its all about how much your willing to spend and what you want them to do. Theirs a crap load of coilovers you can get. Bc's, ISC's, Racelands, Fortune Auto, TEIN the list goes on. Cheapest would probably be racelands at around $500 for a set.
